This is the American version of the show that is a huge hit in Israel. If you lived in a tiny country surrounded by nations who hated you, you'd love therapy too.Psychotherapy is the epitome of a private act. It occurs behind closed doors with no witnesses other than the principals themselves.

Ice closes schools; more could come

Sultan mayor, council on ballot

A long-term solution for the city's financial woes is to increase its retail tax base, Eslick said. The former Sultan restaurant owner now works as a business loan officer for First Heritage Bank.
"I can entice businesses to Sultan," she said.
Seehuus, general manager of Galaxy Theatres in Monroe, said he wants the city to streamline the paperwork process to invite new businesses.
"We need to go out and recruit them," said Seehuus, who served on the city's planning commission before he was elected to the council in 2003.
Seehuus said he fought to keep the city's police department intact earlier this year when officials considered contracting with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office for service.
Coke's health kick over hydration won't hold water
Coca-Cola recently teamed with the on-demand cable fitness network ExerciseTV, an unusual partnership that promises to solve what apparently is America's latest health crisis: dehydration.
Say you're getting sweaty during an abs workout. Before you can reach for some tap water, an image of Coke's Enviga product pops up on the screen. When the carbonated green tea is poured, messages about hydration, burning calories or Coke brands spill out.
These handy reminders, said fitness icon and ExerciseTV founder Jake Steinfeld, are just one way the world's No. 1 soft-drink company can bring more "educational information" to his network's 23 million viewers.
To say that Coke wants to give us good "information" about fitness is to believe that Virginia Slims wanted to improve women's tennis.

What’s smug and deserves to be decapitated?
Having walked to work in the city for the last 5 years, I've been hit once and nearly taken out half a dozen times - and they usually have the cheek to harangue me, the pedestrian. I have never been badly hurt. This is fortunate as they are the only vehicles on the road that don't require third party insurance. This means that if one does injure a pedestrian or cause an accident with other vehicles, the injured party has no come-back whatsoever. I believe that this should change. Cycles used on city streets should be registered, taxed and insured. I for one would report the the red-light jumpers if I could. .
